Terms of sale
1. Scope of application
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the sale of products offered on the website www.poomparis.com.
They are concluded between:
- On the one hand, POOM Paris, publisher of the website,
- And on the other hand, any individual or legal entity making a purchase through the website, hereinafter referred to as “the Customer.”
Placing an order on the website implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs.
2. Products
The products offered for sale on the Website are described as accurately as possible, including their essential characteristics (materials, size, color, non-slip features). Product photos and descriptions are provided for information purposes only and are not contractually binding.
Minor variations in color, texture, or appearance may occur due to screen settings or manufacturing tolerances.
POOM Paris guarantees that the products sold are new and comply with applicable regulations. Proper use and care instructions are provided on the Website or product packaging. POOM Paris cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from improper use or incorrect care of the products.
3. Orders
The order process includes several steps:
- Selection of products and adding them to the cart.
- Confirmation of the cart and personal information (address, delivery method).
- Secure payment of the order.
- Order confirmation sent by email.
POOM Paris reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of a previous dispute, non-payment, or suspected fraud.
4. Prices
Prices are indicated in euros (€), excluding taxes (HT). VAT is not applicable in accordance with Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI).
Shipping costs are specified at the time of the order and vary depending on the chosen delivery method.
POOM Paris reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time of order confirmation.
5. Payment methods
Payments are secure and may be made by:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express),
- PayPal,
- Other payment solutions offered by Shopify Payments.
The amount invoiced corresponds to the HT amount displayed at the time of the order, to which shipping fees may be added where applicable.
The order is considered final once payment has been confirmed.
7. Invoicing
For each order, an invoice is issued and sent by email to the Customer.
It clearly includes the mandatory note:
“VAT not applicable – Article 293 B of the CGI.”
8. Delivery
- Delivery zones: France and the European Union.

Indicative delivery times:
- France: 2 to 5 business days,
- Europe: 5 to 10 business days.
- Shipping costs: displayed at checkout. Free delivery is offered for orders of two pairs or more.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the carrier. POOM Paris cannot be held liable for delays caused by the carrier.
9. Returns and refunds
- Returns are only accepted if items are in their original condition: new, unworn, unwashed, unopened, and in their original packaging with intact labels.
- In case of a defective product or an order error, the Customer must contact customer service at hello@poomparis.com within a reasonable period to arrange the return.
- Return costs are borne by the Customer, except in cases where the error is attributable to POOM Paris.
- Refunds (excluding initial shipping costs) are made within a maximum of 14 days after receipt and inspection of the returned items.
10. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a legal period of 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision.
However, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the same Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products:
- That have been unsealed or opened after delivery for hygiene or health protection reasons.
Therefore, POOM Paris socks, considered hygiene products, may only be returned if they are unworn, unopened, and in their original packaging.
11. Legal warranty
Products sold benefit from:
- The legal warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, valid for 2 years),
- The warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
In the event of a non-compliant or defective product, the Customer may request a replacement or refund.
12. Intellectual property
All elements of the website (texts, images, logos, designs, videos) are the exclusive property of POOM Paris, unless otherwise stated.
Any reproduction or use without prior authorization is prohibited.
13. Personal data
The personal data collected when placing an order are necessary for order processing.
They are processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
For more information, the Customer is invited to consult the Privacy Policy.
14. Force majeure
POOM Paris cannot be held responsible for failure to perform due to a force majeure event (strike, natural disaster, network failure, etc.).
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by French law.
In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought. Failing that, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the French courts.
